Pomodoro was a brand of italian, house-made food. A dear friend and his mother cooked amazing raviolis, pizzas and sauces, and wanted to make the brand official so they could sale in suppermarkets and other food stores.

The handcrafted typeface used for the logo and other assets is inspired by the round, fluid shape of a popular ingredient in Italian cuisine, the tomato, also the name of the brand.
My friend Daniel and his mother cooked a few of the dishes they sell, and ask me to take some amateur photos to present the brand to the public. They knew I’m no photograph, but they didn’t want something perfect, they wanted something natural and unpretentious. The best part was tasting the dishes afterward, everything was really delicious!
We worked on making  a hand-made look for the brand, with bold colors and packaging that could differentiate from other products on the shelves.
